The Ashley Angel Fund

The Ashley Angel Fund was created to help provide veterinary assistance in very special circumstances for pets and pet owners facing hardship, as well as for homeless pets and rescue-related cases.

This fund was started through a generous donation from the family of one of Dr. Swan’s former patients, Ashley — the sweetest boxer-mix who left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her. Ashley was deeply loved by her dad, who adored her more than anything in the world and did everything he could for her throughout her life and right up until the very end. The day Ashley crossed the Rainbow Bridge, many hearts were broken.

In Ashley’s memory, we have decided to help other animals in need by creating a fund that could make a meaningful difference in carefully selected cases.

The Ashley Angel Fund is intended to assist with specific situations involving pets whose families are experiencing genuine hardship, homeless pets, and select rescue-related cases. Because funds are limited and demand is often high, assistance is not guaranteed and is reserved for very specific circumstances only. All requests must meet strict eligibility requirements before any support can be approved. This allows the fund to be used responsibly and ensures help is directed to the cases with the greatest need and the best prognosis.
